So is every other college RB. Derrick Henrys are pretty rare.

Then why didn't he correct any of them from last season? I don't see the improvement.

Take note my friends - it got WORSE from 2023 to 2024. Sark's part, that is.

Exactly, and Sark did pretty well with that talent. Would any coach have won with that group? That is the main question. I can think of a few OC's Texas has had that could have screwed it up.

Sark's biggest problem this morning is getting his team healthy. They weren't good enough against the best this year. Ryan Day and every other head coach of these elite teams go through it year by year. Only one team is winning this thing. The Shorthorns need a better QB and good health at the end of the season. Easier said than done.

Quinn Ewers had a lower QB rating than Milroe or Thorne this year.

The guy Bama fans wanted run out of town was better throwing the ball than he was.

I’d start by looking at that.

Well, we've got that part handled. But meanwhile, what about the brain power that continued to play Ewers for this entire season? That's what I'm looking at.

Don't be a dumbass just because you are a Mizzou fan.

He has the makings of a very good HC. But like all coaches he is still figuring shite out.

QE has been overrated since HS. Not even close to the biggest prospect.

I have to agree with this. Both QE and Sark have been media darlings for whatever forsaken reason.

If you keep showing up, it increases your odds of winning. Ask UGA and TOSU.

Or Sark is our Mark Richt and it's the next guy who wins it all. We'll find out soon enough.

Is this correct?

cfbstats.com has you 101st in total red zone conversions, but you were actually 54th in TD conversions.

The site doesn't include a breakdown of how many times you went for it on and either failed to convert on downs / had a turnover vs how many were missed FGs, but Texas was "meh" when it came to converting red zone trips to TDs. Not nearly as horrible as the post implies.

Unanimously, only Vince Young was his equal. Some ranking entities also placed Bruce Young and Trevor Lawrence at his level. He was clearly one of the biggest prospects since rankings were a thing.

Pinch your nose for this one:

Texas Red Zone offense:
#89 in 2023
#111 in 2024

And Steve Sarkisian is a great coach why? Would somebody clear this up for me?

I was never ecstatic about the Sark hire but I have been told for several years he was a godsend. Please explain.

This is a melt? Mt Vernon is no Mt Vesuvius

The margin of error has changed dramatically in college football. Last season, neither Ohio State or the Shorthorns would have been in this playoff.

Georgia, Oregon, Notre Dame, and probably Penn State as the wildcard.

Mark Richt never got the benefit of the playoff doubt Ryan Day and Sarkisian just enjoyed.

Where's our blowout wins like we used to get under Mack? Why do we always do this same bit about getting ahead, then shutting down, then choking in the red zone, then sneaking it out in the end,....

I sick of the fricking script.

“ We were not supposed to be in the game against Ohio State.

But with the help of a non targeting call that everyone not retarded knows was targeting. We were allowed to play in the Cotton Bowl.”

Fixed it for you. Oh, and good job on the moral victory. No one cares about those here.

Wow, dude, calm down. Prediction, having Manning running the show next season will lead to Texas being in the top 25 of red zone offenses and make Sark look like the offensive genius the media claims him to be.

I appreciate what Ewers did for the program. But we're about to level up.
