I'm about sick and tired of friggen judges deciding what players and conferences can do.

I am, overall. But I think you need to take look at this on a case by case basis. Sorsby was clearly in the wrong. Chambliss is a bit of a gray area but I feel like his lawyers had their opportunity to present their evidence. But this current issue seems more cut and dry. I personally don't care if LSU gets any of these players, but I do feel like they were unjustly treated by the NCAA and deserve to play.
The only way they resolve this is to have an agreement with the players, schools, conferences, etc, that spells out their procedures and that they all agree to follow NCAA protocol and that the NCAA has final say on disputes like these. Then the courts can't intervene if players and teams disagree with the NCAA, as long as they are following agreed upon protocol.

The NCAA is clearly floundering and needs to be put out of it's misery

What did Lane have to do with the Dallas County suit?
Nothing right now. But it’s the only TRO in place on the SEC, as I understand it.
The amended TRO in the 19th JDC in Baton Rouge had not been signed at last check.

As far as I know Lane Kiffin didn't file that either.

Correct. But Lane needs somebody restraining the SEC somewhere.
