Texas is coming after LSU staff
Per Chip Brown
Per posts on Hornfans, the Longhorns fired Tim Beck and Derek Warehime.
Supposedly CDC(?) is vetting a Clemson OC (and wants a coach named Samples, who went to SMU, back on staff).
Other fun things that have been posted:
-Herman was on the block but they didn't want a revolving door at HC
-Chip Brown knows about the firings (and the new OC?) but isn't allowed to post it until after their game Saturday
Take it with a grain of salt. But thought it'd be something that should be brought up.

I think you guys are missing the fact that Herman’s stock is an all time low right now. Don’t think any big name assistants want to hop on a sinking ship right now unless the money’s crazy.

Texas A&M? Might be a good deal!

Ya Brady will be at LSU for another season at least. Now if the offense doesn’t miss much of a beat (I say that knowing u don’t duplicate a season like this year) and keeps it rolling, I could possibly see him look at offers. Ya don’t keep a talent like that for long. Especially with the trend now in the NFL as well as College teams hiring young energetic offensive minds to be HC’s.

Like I said. All you had to do was see the name Chip Brown and immediately start laughing at the OP.
Don't shoot the messenger, just posting it as it is

This guy is good. If I were him I would not go to a iffy situation. Just hold tight at LSU till a top job comes knocking. Look at Kirby smart he stayed with Saban for ever and was paid with Georgia.

Not Likely! Some of you people are idiots! He has never been an OC and UT and Herman can’t take the risk

TAF $ =/= LSU $ we can spend with anyone.

No amount of money is worth working in/for that dumpster fire. You have to be a special kind of stupid (Strong) or douche (Herman) to want that job.
Add Jimbo to that list of “special kind of stupid”

We get it, he’s got a super important title of “passing coordinator”. Kind of reminds me of “Assistant to the Regional Manager.”
or defensive coordinator under Saban

Brady isn't gonna go anywhere bc of money. LSU will match or pay more to keep him. His next move will either be HC at a college team, or OC for a NFL team.
No reason to leave LSU for any other reason.

Brady is not leaving LSU... and in any event once the team makes a commitment to the spread/RPO there are a bunch of coaches that can run it.
Btw who would go and tie their cReer to Herman

Update by Chip Brown
quote:
Herman has identified a leading offensive coordinator candidate, and Texas will move quickly, following Friday’s regular-season finale against Texas Tech, to try to hire that person, sources said. That hire is not a slam dunk, because the leading candidate already has a job at a school that could take bold measures to keep him, sources said. The main target is LSU’s Joe Brady. The second target is USC’s Graham Harrell, who helped the Trojans to an 8-4 record despite quarterback injuries.

I get that your a troll who is likely completely ignorant when it comes to football but again I ask,
Why would an OC like Brady or Harrell go work under an arrogant offensive HC who runs a system that is very very different from their own successful systems? Not to mention the guy’s seat will be flaming hot next year.

If your staff isn't being raided....your team probably sucks.
