I agree with the LSU fans here. I don't think Joe Brady goes to Texas. Herman future is in doubt and Brady seems to really like being in Baton Rouge. I do think its funny that a few years ago everyone thought it was Aranda that Herman would come after since they have some kind of history but it ends up being LSU offensive coach he wants. It just shows the huge impact that Joe Brady has made.

Herman is not bringing in someone to run his offense. He is an offensive guru. I would focus more on defense if I was him.

Texas has famously deep pockets but LSU is one of the few programs that can hang in a bidding war with them.

If I was Brady I'd stay at LSU unless they absolutely low ball him on the next contract offer. You have plenty of talent to play with, SEC money is good money, your chances of landing a top notch coaching gig down the road is very high, and you have a head coach who has learned his lesson about interfering with the offense.

LSU would match. A season like this has them ready to throw stupid money to keep him. Rebuilding Texas is an awful gig, I’m not gonna worry

I mean, they do have more money than LSU, and if it’s about money and Texas wants him... he gone.

That's not how it works.

Let's say Texas could afford to pay Brady $100 million per year to be the OC at Texas. There is no way LSU could pay that. Is any college football team going to pay $100 million for an OC? No. $10 million? No. $5 million? Probably not. So the question becomes, how much is the highest paid OC worth? Any number under $5 million, and LSU can afford it.

Long and short, even if UT has more money to spend on CFB, LSU can't be reasonably outbid for an OC.

Neither one of those candidates are leaving their situation to hitch their wagon to Herman's Titanic. Why leave LSU or USC for Texas? Texas is going to find that their job is not as attractive as they think it is

It's how they've hired both Strong and Herman, instead of proven properties in the past decade or so. They have money, but the whole program is a complete cesspool

So Texas and A&M can't keep their claws off LSU assistants? Chavis, Aranda, now Brady? If everything is so much bigger and better in Texas why do you losers keep reaching across the border?

A&M fans were 100% convinced Chavis was the only reason LSU was competitive and was beating them soundly from 2012 to 2014.

It’s not one coach, it’s a hard nosed mentality of a winning program fed by Louisiana players. Good Texas players gravitate to that and come to LSU. You can’t duplicate that. Texas and specially A&M are posers.

Of all the thing Texas needs an OC really isn’t one of them.

They need players and player development.

I don’t know why he would join a Herman staff that is underperforming in an inferior conference. Money would have to far exceed the downside.

No. The culture of the A&M program is not at all comparable to the tu program.

A&M gets no media love and is constantly bashed, and has only recently made bold moves, so there is much more of an underdog mentality still.

The horns are filled with a sense of entitlement and hubris and talk about accomplishments of the past.
