Tom Herman is confused — The Texas Longhorns head coach just can’t wrap his mind around why Texas and Texas A&M can’t find a way to resume the longstanding bitter rivalry during the non-conference portion of the schedule.

Welcome to the party, Tom.

Neither fan base really wants it, so it's gonna be awhile.

We don't need them, and they're too proud to admit that they need the game.

ATM is scared, they couldn't take over Texas when they were down, so the admin plays it off like they don't need to play Texas. So do their fans.

I bet if you say these words out loud your voice becomes more rapid, higher pitched, and louder

If this happened, who would LSU play on thanksgiving day?

Aggy is too scared, but what if?

I bet if you say these words out loud your voice becomes high pitched, you become short of breath and somewhat aroused.

By the time they do play, Texas will be good again.

aTm will probably look back and regret the fact that they didn't play Texas this decade, because they would have beaten their arse basically every year.

I think Anniston and Oxford should resume play in Alabama high school football. That shooting was 11 years ago. Time to move on.

Aggy official stance in the matter is any time anywhere as long as a date and location are not trying to be named, then it's they need us more than we need them.

Well yeah. But you don't understand. Big Brother was a total douchebag who gave Aggy noogies, ate all the Fudge Rounds, and stole their allowance to buy himself a moped. That's ok though because he's still stuck at home working a dead end job still hanging out with his loser friends from high school while Aggy is snapping necks and cashing checks out here with their new pals

Does anyone in the West have a permanent non-conference rival? Never thought of that before. The East is full of teams that play legit power 5.

I would be nervous if I was aggie.
