Let’s not forget Claiborne and Webster for LSU. They were great on college but so so in NFL.
Some make it some don’t.
LEU will always be DBU to me but sometimes the purple and gold glasses need to come off.

LSU is clearly DBU this year and last just going off roster talent

That might be peak Longhorn delusion. How do they back up this claim? How many DBs are playing in NFL (successfully)? What is there record over the past 10 years? 20? in DB recruitment, development and NFL achievement? I mean, maybe there are numbers to back this up?

You left out Tre White and Jamal Adam's, who are currently the two best LSU dbs

LSU is going to destroy Texas. I’m not even being an arse or trolling. Its not an SEC thing. Nothing would tickle me more than for LSU to lose; this board would be hugely entertaining but if I’m being honest it’s going to get ugly for Texas early and often.

LSU don’t have to put up big numbers when the D shuts Texas down, but they still will to win big.

4-5 programs could argue "DBU", Texas has historical excellence and when this article was written peaked (LINK ).
LSU has the 2000's claim IMO having EIGHT consensus All American DB's since 2006. I'm not sure 5 programs have ever had eight consensus AA's ever.

That study was junk. It deprioritized national awards and drafts by elevating conference awards to equal status. That helped OSU immensely, since the NEXT THREE SCHOOLS in the rankings were competing against each other for conference accolades, while OSU had no competition on the list...
Exactly. You hit the nail on the head with that joke of an article. "LSU and Alabama have had more All Americans but Ohio state is DBU thanks to their All conference selections at defensive back. We won't think about the fact that LSU competes in the SEC against other schools that have put a large number of quality defensive backs into the NFL. OSU defensive backs compete for all conference against who? Michigan State, Michigan and possibly Wisconsin?

We’re laughing at UT Claiming DBU. LSU Ohio St & UF are all ahead of Texas n that argument. Hell LSU takes the best Dbs n Texas. The LSU offense vs the UT D isn’t the argument

The firsr time you did this it was for the Georgia game right?

Can't believe no one has posted the gif of the Texas DB celebrating an incomplete pass as the La Tech guy catches it and proceeds to run down field
