No, that is where we disagree. Yes, of course that is the case for some, if not many / most.
Well, here is my post I made several posts ago: Everybody's opinion is always tainted by how it affects their favorite team.
Now, if yours remains the same that's fine. But there are literally thousands of posts on this board supporting my take.
quote:I won't remove those words because it bears the crux of my argument. You can remain impassive and neutral when it is someone elses school, but when rules, coaches, players affect YOUR school opinions of those rules, coaches or players tend to change.
Just remove "for your school."

And I wasn't talking about most people.
But I was. Our disconnect comes from your insisting it is not what you do, when I clearly keep saying it does for most people.

What is your point here?
My point is the same it has been for the entirety of our discussion. That most people...the vast majority of people change their opinions on a situation when it affects their team. If you go back to my original post I clearly state that if the players in question were fighting the rules so they could go to Ole miss instead of LSU, most LSU fans would be upset instead of supportive.
Disagree? Then why are so many trying to point to Hutson and others to justify their position?

I know. I never argued otherwise.

If you go back to my original post
No. Go back to your comment on my post that I have been referring to. You made an incorrect assumption about my view, here.

I get your point, but you would feel differently and be screaming from the rooftops if those players were wanting to return to Ole Miss.
You weren't talking about "most people", you were making an assumption about my opinion.
It's all good man. I don't think we really disagree on much. And if we do, that's ok.

You are correct. It was poor wording on my part. It is never a good idea to make absolutes...(saying everybody, never, always, etc.)
