Ridiculous that a public institution would not prioritize American citizens over foreign nationals. It's not unique to UT Austin, and it's a national disgrace, in my opinion.

Two or More Races: ~4%

Much like any high-achieving academic University across the country

They are Hispanic more than likely. Texas borders Mexico, it makes sense for their state demographics to have more people with Mexican heritage, if anything.

For comparisons sake… Florida student body is 53% non-white, 7.6% international students
But I don’t think it’s the “international” kids that some posters here actually have a problem with

You can think it's okay to rapidly flood our country with people who don't care about our way of life and put our workers and students in direct competition with them. But many others don't share that view or think we just need to "study harder".
