They have pretty much been crushed. Herman was 32-18 and just went 7-3 winning his bowl game, under normal circumstances he probably comes back for a 5th but the decision to fire him was made when Sam was the only one standing for the eyes of Texas after a 4 OT loss to OU. Then comes Sark who shorty after being hired said the eyes of Texas is our song and we will sing it proudly. A committee tasked to investigate the song released a report that said there is no racist intent behind the song. Last weekend the entire stadium, players, and coaches were singing the eyes.
Oh and we are about to be in the SEC, which as I have said, is the biggest “sit down and shut the frick up” message sent to the contingent of far left academia that just want to bitch and wine.

None of us who ever grew up singing the Eyes ever thought it was racist, and we did not intend any racism either while we were cheering on Earl and Ricky and our other Black players down on the field. I don't think that lawsuit has any legal merit, and I am a lawya...
Problem is if you look back far enough, not only the South but the entire U.S., there is racist history there. Yale which produces many liberal graduates was named for Elihu Yale, associated with the Dutch East India company and East Indian slave trade: See:LINK
You could make just about everything in this country racist if you go back far enough. We just named our stadium after our Heisman winners Earl Campbell and Ricky Williams (respect which I absolutely support), and NCAA players have NIL rights now... I think we are moving forward, not back...
