Really? It took a miracle 3rd and 17 conversion from Burrow for LSU (according to many here to be the greatest team of all-time) to hang on to beat us in 2019.

Hook'em

Well, Arkansas sure kicked your arse up and down the field last year.

There were times when every QB in the Big 12 South went to the NFL. The 90 play hurry-up-no-huddles weren't 9-6 slug fests, but they were hard, competitive games, with multiple teams finishing in the Top 10 every year.

We've played against 11 of the last 20 Heisman Tropy winners.

We have played the National Champions 3 out of 4 years in times past.

Most of our games, we are the high point of our opponents seasons. That Will Not be the case in the SEC. Not used to be overlooked going into a game.

It doesn't get much more arrogant than that.

You are probably right. I am sure that Kansas beating you in Austin was the high point of their season.

When the donghorns get their asses kicked by 'bama this fall, half these donghorn posters will disappear. All it took was getting beat in baseball to get xwing to disappear.

It’s a different caliber of player within the SEC. You don’t truly realize it until you are playing in the league and see 270 lb DEs chase down fast quarterbacks or watch an tackle pancake and manhandle an opposing star DE. You don’t notice it much with position players but it becomes very obvious with linemen, TEs, and LBs. Where there are guys who are bigger, faster, stronger, and more agile than anything in the rest of the nation.

There are no games off in the league and you have to have depth or else the grind will crush your time as the injuries stack up.

This is why a team who may not look very good in the SEC can go and obliterate a non-SEC team that supposedly had a high powered offense. They cannot handle the linemen difference.

Looking forward to it and hope we rise to the occasion. Either way, I haven’t been this excited about Texas football in a king time. The move to the SEC can’t get here soon enough.

What? Probably a Texas fan would say something like this "Texas AD hasn't done anything about it."

This must be why MSU obliterated Texas Tech last year...

And why Ole Miss obliterated Baylor last year...

And LSU obliterated Kansas State last year.

Peak Texas can compete with anyone. It doesn’t matter what conference they are in if they roll out like the shite show from 2010-current.
