This is your checklist for whether or not a poster is an actual Texas fan:
-posts a tldnr response to a thread about Texas
*actual Texas fan
-repeated OP thread start about how great Texas is or dominates SEC
*obvious alt, not a Texas fan
-replies to a thread about how great Texas is or dominates SEC with initial bravado but becomes rational with 2nd or 3rd reply
*actual Texas fan
-Goes all out to promote awareness about OU’s unmatched history of blatant cheating/steroid-use and/or embarrassing (for human-kind) Texas A&M behavior
*actual Texas fan
-posting history of antagonizing behavior towards subjects regarding SEC conference traditions or reputation
*most likely alt or butt-hurt t-shirt fan who took “Texas can’t hang with SEC” too much to heart
Actual Texas fans are pretty chill and realistic about their program and have a lot of understanding about our strengths and weaknesses. You can recognize a real Texas fan by our apathy. We are so used to being hated on that we generally don’t engage. 90% of what we deal with we know is BS so we just laugh at it

True they should win more and guess what they will because the tides of CFB are changing and I think texas will be a huge player and I don’t even like texas

Same. Now it is about who has the most money. Texas will do very well in that enviroment with all that oil money. Texas Tech will probably rise up in a few years probably too.

You must not know any. I could mingle in a room full of alumni from all US schools and not know which school they represent and I’d be able to pick out the tx alums. Even HYS alums aren’t as douchey as tx. Out of all tx alums who have crossed my path, I like 1. And he started college at OSU and transferred to tx so he half doesn’t count.

The big difference is they are now in a conference that they can't control. Prior conferences they came in and essentially became the conference bully to get their way. SEC won't allow past misbehavior to impact the SEC. Now, when and if the Championship Game gets moved to Dallas then "Houston we have a (another) problem"!

I think it's funny how fans of opposing teams are intimidated by them. The horns down thing is about as little brother as you can get. I don't find them to have bigger egos than Tennessee or Alabama fans.
