Arabs are throwing $billions at us so we'll bestow some of our world-renowned petroleum engineering (i.e. money printing) expertise upon them? Honestly a great investment on their part. I'm surprised other SEC schools haven't made us similar offers.
Deal with it, lolpoors

Foreign control of American innovation?
When is the last time Aggie did something new fangled?
Not including their wonderful innovations in BBQ, thank you very much Ags.

These royal families are not religious zealots. They just want to make money. The crown prince of Saudi Arabia had a guy dissolved in acid for being critical of him. He wasn't white. He was a fellow Saudi. He was a muslim. Murder is haram. How many times have you seen MBS kneel down in prayer on camera? There isn't any evidence he's even taken the hajj once. Same reason Netanyahu doesn't often wear a yarmulke or cry or be spastic at the wailing wall. Same for the Emir of Qatar. Dude has been filmed playing badminton but never on the hajj or on his knees in prayer. One of his wives called for Muslims to boycott the hajj in 2018. Hamad al Thani is on the record supporting a 2-state solution. That's about as radical as it gets. These Arabs just want to marry and frick their cousins, have lots of babies and make lots of money. There is ZERO evidence they are religious fanatics nor is there any evidence they are antagonistic to the U.S. Saudi Arabia has never sunk a U.S. vessel. Neither has Qatar. They aren't proponents of sharia. They love western culture. That's why they buy our weapons, watch Western movies, and buy European cars. It isn't Saudis or Qataris wreaking havoc in Europe. Time we stop lumping all Muslims into one pot. A Saudi or Qatari muslim is the same as a sub-saharan African or Afghani muslim the same way Dinesh D'Souza and Geronimo are both Indians.
Yes. The true evil of all these groups is their love and worship of satans money. They will destroy anything for it. We can find peace in knowing there will be a reckoning in the end

The ignorance on this board boarders on unbelievable sometimes. Qatar is probably the USA's most important non-NATO ally. Our largest military base and command center in the Middle East is in Qatar.
If Qatar is attacked, the US will defend them.

Some truth here in that these leaders are not religious. Phonies all. But the Saudis have actively promoted the most sinister form of Islam -- Wahhabism. That iteration teaches Saudi kids in schools to hate all non-Muslims. And the Saudis have played a huge role in exporting that form of Islam, which has led to the formation of al-Qaida and ISIS. Intolerance-fed terrorist attacks have resulted.
Don't you remember the terrorist attack on a U.S. Air Force barracks in Saudi Arabia in 1996 that killed 19 U.S. airmen? That was Wahhabism at work. And 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis. Wahhabism at work again. F the Saudis and the camels they rode in on until U.S. oil companies showed them how to harvest their oil.
