Love it.
Married a Florida girl and we recently relocated back to the Florida panhandle, surrounded by fans from every SEC team and tons of Sooners as well.
Excited to finally be in a conference with fans that are as die hard about every sport as OU fans are.

You constantly talk down about Arkansas on here. Yeah, it’s so obvious you hate us and see us as a rivalry. It’s ok, we hate you too.

Won't miss every game being at 11 am.
GameDay hasn't come to Norman in years (2020 Bedlam). The last time before that was 2012. I imagine that will change.
I haven't been this excited in years. The Big XII was stagnant, it was time to move on.

Very happy to be in the SEC. We are very blessed to be here and I hope we do our part to keep the conference #1.

To me, the Big 12 died when Nebraska, A&M and Mizzou left (no shits given to Colorado’s exit). Hard to get excited for Baylor, Taco Tech and Iowa State regardless of how good their team is.
At least for the first few seasons, every game is going to feel like a bowl game with interesting matchups and big-name opponents. I haven’t been to many road games in the last decade, I see that changing with the new SEC slate.
I loved the regional football of the Big 8. The early Big 12 was alright even though it essentially killed the OU - Nebraska rivalry. Hate the current version of the Big 12 and glad we’re leaving. The longer we stayed in a conference with small religious private universities, city colleges and directional universities the further away from relavence we would get. We needed a change, and the SEC was the best place for us to be. Looking forward to it.

I couldn’t be happier; can’t remember the last time I was this excited about football starting and college sports in general. Every single game will mean something, every school has great traditions and every fan cares. A lot. I’ve actually always kinda rooted for Bama, LSU, Tennessee but I guess that will change after a few blood fueds. But the blood fueds will be fun.

Thanks for saving our place. I see A&M has continued their unrivaled tradition of mediocrity in the SEC as they did the Big 12.

Very excited about it. You wouldn't know it from my interactions around here. But SEC Rant isn't real life. It's just internet shite talk

Born and raised LSU fan and Louisiana native turned Texas alum. I extremely glad to be in the SEC. Big 12 games sucked compared to SEC games.

Glad! Huge exciting football match ups right away. Schedule will be brutal though; may be starting our 3rd string players by the end of the season.
I have lived in NC now 30 years which is full of SEC fans. Games will be much closer - I plan to drive to Nashville with my football fan daughter and son-in-law for the Vandy game this fall…

Absolutely THRILLED. This has always been my dream. Similar fanbases, similar expectations. The matchups on a weekly basis, holy hell this is going to be awesome. And the move forces us to recruit and develop the type of linemen we need to get to the next level.
The last item is often lost on people. The B12 was a QB & innovative passing game conference. Leaner, faster linemen made sense in conference, but got us de-pantsed in the post season far too many times. That shite's over now.

Wish there was a way we could make a more regional conference work financially/competitively. I do not like losing our instate rivalry game.
That said, I did spend a formative part of my life in SEC country (I suppose now I can say I spent my entire youth there) where I played high school football myself. My team had already traveled to some Auburn games and there were lots of SEC fans around (to go along with the plentiful FSU fans). It's not a foreign environment to me. *shrug* I guess the money will be good.
We'll find our way. Not sure 'glad' is the right word. More satisfied that conference realignment for my team atleast, seems to be over and stable... atleast until a true super conference forms - if that should ever happen.

Nah not really. But it has to do with the general direction of College Football as a whole. I am however looking forward to some Campus visits, Tenn, Bama and Ga will be bad arse!
