My point is both us and OU didn't have a choice, we had to go somewhere and the SEC was by far the best conference to move to. I can't and won't speak for the gooners, but it will be nice being among other big dogs with skins on the wall both recent and in the past. Running things gets tiresome in any case, we'll leave that to Bama, UGA, Tenner or whoever wants the pressure of doing such a thing. We're happy to be along for the ride..and most of all having big games nearly every week!
No you didn't. Pac-12 and Larry Scott rejected your entry into their conference in 2011. What saved you is the idea of super conferences and all the realignment that's going on.
There has been an incredible amount of pushing and shoving for the top of the hill between the SEC and the B1G. In the meantime, the NCAA is a complete failure with NIL and the magic portal. More reasons to consolidate efforts to reinvent the college football wheel. The shorthorns and sooner are simply part of the machinery for those dynamics.

is how backwards and ignorant the SEC member schools are

In all seriousness, for years I’ve said A&M has as much potential to become a perennial power or multiple NC winner as anyone. You’ve had many great players in the past 30 years. I’m gonna feel dirty for typing this but I love yalls road whites.

Not gonna happen.
You are ranked 8th in the SEC in recruiting.
That would be good for first in the Big12.
But you are middle of the pack here. I hope you have a good first season in the SEC. If not, your recruiting is gonna tank.

Tell the truth. You came to the SEC to make more money annually off media rights.
Well they kinda fricked up the big 12 to the point it wasn't as valuable of a conference. If the big 12 of 2010 was still in tact it would have had some leverage for big media deals. But they had to have a channel dedicated to exclusively longhorn athletics for whatever fricking reason.

I wonder why there were so many ranked red river shootouts? It's the whole point here you two big 12 no winning championship mofo's are playing with the big boys now. Hell if the SEC wouldn't have been beating the sh*t out of each over the last 30 years there would be alot more two ranked teams playing each other. Guarantee that red river rivalry matchup would have had alot less ranked games between those two very average teams(TX/OK) also over the last 30 years too.
