Hardly new light. TAMU's investment and the paying of dividends as we speak happens to be going on in the toughest division in college football. That recipe for success and the momentum toward being a national power is not contingent on an average Texas team that can't get their ducks in a row. They have been flopping around in a very mediocre conference for over a decade.
The article could have just as easily spent their valuable time discussing how Texas expects to find its way out of the wilderness sojourn and not end up just another SEC cadaver.
