So the answer to your question is no, there is no reason for A&M to schedule good OOC opponents.

Edit: Whoops.
Rice was 7-6 last year. Won bowl game against AFA.
SMU was also 7-6 and beat the snot out of Fresno State in their bowl.
That's not to say our OOC schedule doesn't suck - it clearly does. Lost the pigs, which was the big one. And I think it will be at least 2015 before any Big 12 teams will play A&M.

I think we are going to end up with a TCU series and a Texas Tech series at a minimum in the next few years.

I really hope we play Tech OOC. It would be an awesome non conference game atmosphere regardless of how much we make fun of their fans

I say it too much on the A&M board but I wish A&M and Arky could work a deal with Jerry to where we alternate playing Tech in JerryWorld as an OOC game so our conference games could be home and home.
That would probably require Tech and Baylor to drop out of their JerryWorld game though.

Wrong! There's no way to say that too much. Think about it: Travel to Fayetteville every other year vs. Lubbock??? Why would that even be a question? Added benefit: Arlington cops would arrest a lot more of those lunatics than Lubbock cops would, which would be a plus for America. Go, America!
KK has already said he's open to playing A&M (after JFF leaves, which is understandable). I'd think Tech would jump at the chance to play in Jerry World in a bigger game.

First of all, don't care. All MSU is going to have for their OOC scheduling is an 0-1 record to kick off the season. Meanwhile, we'll be Rice by 40 get ready for Bama.

I actually just got off the phone with SumDog Millionaire and he said he'll work on it. He didn't know Al Bundy bulldog was dissatisfied with out OOC scheduling, our 2nd season in our new conference. Tough to count Arky as both. We'll see what that USCe AD can work out for us.

When it gets to 2015 ticket prices this shitty schedule will piss me off. Need to win MNC in 2013 and then start having Georgia, the cocks, UT, and Florida visiting year in and out.
