We suck and that's a fact. The entire season is a fluke. No talent. All smoke and mirrors. We were lucky to have the most prolific offense in the SEC. How dare we win 10 or 11 games. frick us.

Well the last 3 pages have been about how I am supposedly a texas (longhorns) fan. I can only say I'm not, but what do I know about my own opinions? These random internet spies know everything about me, even more than i know about myself.

But if you were not, I would advise you to check out the history of football in the state of Texas for the past 40 years.
Like until the mid 60's A&M students were required to serve in the Corps of Cadets, no women on campus, and NCAA had no limit on the number of scholarships a school could award.
One school awarded scholly's to just about any athlete that could fog a mirror, just to keep them from other schools.
In the 1970's NCAA evened out scholarships and it was amazing how Texas football changed.
But to get back on track, we are sorry we didn't listen to those who told us we would get killed when we went to the SEC. Please accept our apologies by only losing to Florida by three and LSU by five. We had this RS Freshman who wouldn't listen to a first year coach. We will try to listen better next year.

So you think that Mack Brown & David Ash are permanent fixtures at UT? One of these guys has 2 years left and the other has none. UT will not easily relinquish its position as the premier football program in Texas. Without question, A&M is having a much better year and is more impressive as a team, but as you have seen from last year to this, that can change in a hurry. This isn't the 1980's again, when Texas allowed the program to sink to mediocrity for almost a decade. There is a lot more at stake now. It just won't happen. Both A&M & Texas can be highly successful at the same time. It just hasn't been done before. But don't predict the future by relating to the past. It is no longer a reliable predictor.
