And of course, his name is Max Weiner.
All jokes aside, looks like a good hire, Seattle is currently #5 in MLB team ERA.

The Texas A&M baseball program has hired former Seattle Mariner pitching coordinator Max Weiner as its pitching coach, replacing the recently departed Nate Yeskie.
The 28-year-old Weiner spent the last four years in Seattle Mariners organization, traveling through the minor league system to offer instruction to prospects. The Mariners are the only rotation in modern baseball history to have four homegrown starters all under the age of 26: Bryce Miller, Bryan Woo, Logan Gilbert and George Kirby. They all also only spent two full seasons in the minor leagues.

Aggies have a great sense of humor about themselves.

Who knows how it’ll work out, but I absolutely love this hire. Seattle has done an incredible job developing arms. One after another other there.

The frick is a pitching coordinator?
Can’t blame any relevant pitching coach for not wanting to hitch their wagon to SchLOSS.

In football terms, this is like LSU hiring Joe Brady.

That looks to be a damn good hire by Schloss

I don’t know nothing about him except that Seattle has produced some nice homegrown pitching talent lately. So I agree, there is reason to like the hire.
Schloss seems determined to see improvement on our pitching staff.

I don't care if I'm an Aggie.
That is hilarious.
Hope he works out well for us.

Most appropriate baseball coach name for a school since Travis Jewett at Tulane.

Weren’t you the one that got his arse beat by a teenager in a Tiger Stadium bathroom…?
Pitching coordinator is a cute way of saying he’s not the pitching coach
LSU takes what they want from A&M, once again.
