Hmmm. You don’t just replace Pat Henry. Dude is a legend.

He’s pretty damn good. I wanted him to replace Shaver when he was at Houston. But yeah, there is no replacing Pat Henry. Burrell will do well at A&M though. Elite sprints and hurdles coach.

Yes he's been good. That came out of nowhere but I can see him wanting to be back in Texas

Pat Henry is irreplaceable, I hope he has a great retirement.

No idea what kind of coach he is, but I enjoyed watching him as a sprinter. Probably isn’t as well known as he should be for being a 2x world record holder in the 100 m. and at least once for the 4 x 100. Seemed like he had a relatively short prime and just didn’t cash in in the 1992 Olympics.

But will Auburn allow him to coach in the playoffs?

(my own) CSB ... he recruited me to come to UH when he was there, had Superbowl party at his house for the recruits. It was the Undefeated Pats VS Giants/Tyree helmet-catch-game. But the part I remember most is that 4x100 World Record - they were each given a 1/4Lb of solid gold engraved, commemorating the WR... as a 17YO high schooler, it's always stuck with me just how dense/heavy solid gold is.
but, to answer the Ag's questions - he's a real good guy. Was successful at UH while it was really just considered a mid-major in C-USA at the time.

A&M fans should enjoy hearing that. Henry never really seemed to recover after losing vince anderson.

Track and Field...can't say I follow. I watch the Olympics and when my kid or nephews or nieces are particpating...but other then that it is very, very boring.
