Over the last 72 hours Texas A&M has become everything they hate about Texas.

They took internal confidential conference business and made it public because they were not getting their way.

They have spent the last 72 hours trying to wield far more than their equal 1/14th share of power in order to get the conference to bend to their sole wishes.

How long before they actually threaten to leave or sue the conference as a final last ditch effort to make the SEC follow their wishes...?

At this point letting Texas in can't be any worse than what we already have with A&M.

Now factor in that about 20% of the bullshite the spew about Texas is actual fact. The rest is just their cultish folklore.

Exactly proving the OP's point. aTm is worse than Texas at the whole "taking their ball and going home" attitude when they don't get their way.

Well, if this reporter is to be believed, the answer is Monday.

The Texas A&M Board of Regents will meet on Monday at 5 pm CT, "for discussion and possible action on contractual and governance issues relating to Texas A&M University and the Southeastern Conference."

I’m fine with it. Whatever benefits A&M the most is what I want. Not SEC poster feelings

Your team ran 4 teams out of the conference with your elitist attitude only reason OU stayed is because the kicked your arse every year and could walk into the playoffs

Probably about right, TAMU doesn’t fit in anywhere.

Which is remaining in the SEC.. but A&M seems dead set on chopping off their nose to spite their face

Sounds like you care more about your own feelings than what is best for aTm. Explain how exactly going independent or to another conference would benefit aTm more than staying in the wealthiest, best conference where you get to play all your rivals?

Oh that's right....you are the only team in the country that doesn't want to play its biggest in state rival.

So you would rather lose $50 million a year in revenue and any chance of actually winning a national championship than be in a conference with Texas?

Sounds rational.
