One report says otherwise. From an Austin reporter. Whereas multiple major national reporters are saying all the SEC presidents have been involved.
The Texas A&M AD directly said they weren't part of talks.
That's straight from the horses mouth.

He needs to take that up with his school president then. Every single SEC school president has been part of this process all along.
Why would the school presidents be doing this instead of the AD?
The only thing I've seen to the contrary was from Heather Dinich and a "Source" that said they were included.
Vs the AD straight saying they weren't.
As for the A&M president, I looked it up and she has only been on the job a few months. So it would be impossible for her to have been included 6 months ago.

School presidents are who actually vote/decide on conference affiliation and additions. The ADs have no vote.
If either/both the former and current A&M president failed to tell Bjork that's on them.

He said there was no discussions between him and the other ADs. That can be 100% true while the presidents also knowing can be 100% true.

You really think the conference commissioner spent 6 months going behind the back of a single SEC school to make this happen?

One doesn't just leave the SEC...

I feel like most of the people on here are either very young or never paid attention during the last Big12 mess.
Practically 9 out of every 10 "leaked" pieces of information during the PAC 16 expansion were proven to be demonstrably false, most getting leaked by one school/ entity or another trying to get their agenda satisfied or some I suspect outright made up.
It's the reason Chip Brown is a laughing stock in Texas. Yet here everyone is just lapping it up each tweet like it's a fact.
The fact is Texas nor Oklahoma has applied for membership, so obviously no vote has taken place. If you think a reporter knows how the Presidents of 14 different universities will vote, then you're a pretty damn gullible person.
