Haha anm's most successful baseball season saw them fail in their first ever finals appearance only to have Texas hire their coach immediately following the game.

That was a terrible and embarrassing loss. It would've been a tad more understandable had A&M been a good team that made a deep playoff run, but they were a soft outfit that folded at home in the first round.
