TexAgs will bring the most consistently shitty posters. Hogville doesn't consistently spit out shitty posters over here but when it does they are really shitty.

There's really no reason A&M shouldn't be great next year, however A&M isn't known as a program that has ever been able to sustain success.

They'll have great years and fall off quickly.

So while on paper they should be quite good, I also wouldn't be surprised if they came out and had a mediocre year either. That'd be a very "A&M" thing to do.

A&M dominated its state and conference for most of the 80s and 90s. Dominated recruiting in the state most of those years. Was 5th in the 90's in total wins.

The SWC was really irrelevant nationally which hurt respect though.

The comparison of JFF and Need4Snead....they are both from Texas...and that's where the comparisons end.

JFF has already proven himself....Need4Snead never did...where's he at now?

They both had 1 good year. Time will tell. TBH, I wasn't comparing the two. Just the team's hype. Snead's hype was part of that.

Neither OM's '08 season nor Snead's hype approached anything close to TAMU's '12 seaon or Manziel's hype.

The gap between the respective degrees of success is so vast that it effectively makes this an apples to oranges comparison.

No kidding. Half of what shows up on ShaggyBevo would be prosecuted as "hate speech" in Europe. And then there's the delusion known as Baylorfans.

Would love to know your allegiance, sir...I have my suspicions with your "that'd be the A&M thing to do" comment. You are obviously biased, too young to remember, or just ignorant. A&M has historically had runs of success many times. The past decade of doldrums has affected many people too young to know better. Historically, A&M is a top 25 program in total wins AND winning percentage. That is not mediocre, my fact challenged friend, that is better than top 25 percentile. Not bad, since we were a very small, all male, military based school for most of the first century of our existence. As we now top 50K in students, our alumni base growing, our political power grows as well. We are just now commiting ourselves to becoming a national power SEPARATED FROM THAT "other state school" IN TEXAS, I think you will see results quite different than what you thik you refer to...we are coming...
