Not sure if he’s been mentioned, but this guy would crawl to B/CS

Poor DBU, entire program getting upended. The coach has been there since 2008 and is now sneaking out under the cover of darkness and taking the staff with him.

Well he did beat Texas. Which isn’t saying a lot.

At least the man has integrity which is not common these days.

Actually, he probably wants to pick up the pieces of what the PoS left. We upgraded in coaching for sure. Now, recruiting remains to be seen.

And Pennington is an Aggie. Great to have him!

If he bothers to say goodbye to his players he is already 1000x a better man than Schloss

I doubt the DBU folks think so right now.

I hope the man never leaves A&M, he will be called all manner of things.

If Heefner were to leave in the future, we could just promote Cliff …

Maybe the DBU folks will pretend he's a swinger and say this has been a done deal for months to make them better.

Maybe he has burner phones.

If it ends up being O’Connor I would be happy but I just have my doubts he is someone interested in leaving.

Aggie would never hire an in conference head coach, especially not from a rival.

That's dirty, or so they've said.

Our "worst case" right now is Heefner, who might be one hell of a coach at the higher level of college baseball. I wouldn't be so sure, he's the guy. If the O'Connor deal happens, we can argue that we found a better person to lead our program and someone with a better resume. A potential upgrade from Schloss is wild to think about after the last 48 hours.

It's the same way we all behave about transfers.

A guy leaves and he's selfish, tPOS, no chest, just looking for money.

A guy comes in and he's wanting to compete with the best, is obviously an upgrade, a man of integrity, loves the program.

I'm not trashing Aggie here, we all do it. Human nature is funny.
