The most ridiculous thing is they have secured $170 million but most of the new buildings still say "Donor" meaning they haven't sold the naming rights yet. Can't imagine what that check will be.

One of the only benefits of the moron in the WH exploding gas prices is it is making A&M look like Elon Musk in terms of money, just printing that shite.

A money raising campaign for a place supposedly floating in money? Somebody drain the bank account?

Where do you think the money for shite like this comes from? The school just writes a check?

Donors pay money. They get their names put on buildings.

We’re not rich, we’re wealthy. The sips in Austin are rich. I know a few working at tech companies that make almost 150k a year with out kids. Can you imagine how many credit cards you would qualify for if you made almost 150K each year.? You could finance 2 BMW’s and a 20 footer for the lake.

These post are the reason most "Ranters" can't stomach anything aggie. Brag, Brag, Brag with nothing to show for it. Aggie trys so hard for relevance and attention it's truly embarrassing. That's why they are constantly being the brunt of so many jokes by all of the SEC fan bases.I understand being proud of one's university but constantly bragging about anything positive just just gets old and obnoxious.

I'm sure if LSU was dropping $200 mill on new football facilities you wouldn't bother to make a thread about it either, right?

I’m actually befuddled as to on what they’re going to spend that kind of jack concerning our current facilities. By all accounts, they’re already phenomenal.
The indoor track facility is definitely sexy.
But the rest?
As long as they raze those hideous indoor football airplane hangar/practice facilities, I’m good.

The feistiness of some posters in this thread is odd.
I’m a total addict for looking at facilities improvements—regardless of the university.

I’ve stayed away from this place, since it’s filled with dorks.
Strangely enough, I derive some masochistic comfort from the idiotic responses in this thread.

Hope everyone is well!
Y’all take care.

Texas A & M (AKA Texas 8$4) University is the absolute best at everything except winning Championships.

Best Recruiting.
Best Purchasing of Recruits through $$$$$ NIL deals.
Best and Richest Alumni.
Best Facilities.
Best Academics.
Best Traditions.
Best "Blowing Smoke" on message boards.
Best use of Alters and use of Free Time due to unemployment and the accompanying lack of female companionship.

Did I mention NO CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Oh, they say they're coming because of the sweet purchasing power/NIL deals made by those rich 8$4 Alums)

No arguments from me.
It's past time; our excuses are tired.
It's time to put up.

Again, what you say is proper true.
I think it's one of those situations where you can have amazing facilities, yet not win a championship.
But you can't win a championship without amazing facilities?

That's what I'm telling myself, anyway.

We'll get there.

Y'all don't realize how relatively young/new Texas A&M University is to big time college football.
We're building the foundation; now we need to produce.
Excuses no longer fly.

Exactly!

I'm hopeful that good things are in store.

Glad to see what is being done for Track. Hoping something will be coming down the line for Tennis as well.

As excited as I am about all that is being done for Athletics, I am even more excited about all of the things being done for Academics and the university as a whole.
