I did some of the original analysis - and the $25 million number would fit a program just beginning the Nick Saban-Kirby Smart system.
Thats for EACH YEAR.
After a few years that will rise to the bama thugA level of $30,000,000+ per season - signing, performance, and player retention costs
Amazing that Jimbo Fisher as much as admitted it this week as did Nick Saban in their silly denial/accusation fest.
Biggest miracle of all sports miracles is going to be a lack of media coverage of these admissions

Steve Spurrier: "Alabama's scholarships are just worth more"
Rush Propst: "Georgia and Alabama are paying players 5 to 6 figures each to play football.."

The Ags could have run a clean recruiting program like Bama and Georgia but they chose not to. It will come back to bite them in the arse.

Remember, to keep morale up in the locker room five stars get more money (5 mill) than four stars (2.5mill). Three stars get nothing ($0). You have to keep the five stars happy.
