What we don't want to do is a yearly home and home with them again to help prop up their mostly shitty home schedule.

So, anytime, anywhere except yearly home and away?

I don't think many Aggies mind the idea of playing them in a bowl as long as we don't get downgraded (or they don't get upgraded) to make the matchup work.

Starting the preseason title talks early I see. When has your bowl position ever been significant?

Everything in life has an expiration date, and so did our offer to play anytime anywhere.

Basically that window shut the year our LSU game was moved to be the last game of the season.

I would have been pretty pissed if they would have downgraded us to play in the Texas Bowl in 2014 just to force the matchup as an example.

Nah.
No great expectations this year.
And I can’t recall a time when any Ag has predicted a title since we’ve been in the SEC.

So Texas did not fail to accept precious A&M's offer to play, we just ran out of time.

No.
Then, your AD was acting like a scorned lover.
Different scenario.

You should probably be glad Texas hasn't played a and m since they left. They would have probably been favored just about every season since the switch and would have owned Texas the last 5-6 years.

That ad is no longer at UT. The current ad is actually pushing for the game to be reinstated annually.

That's because your fans are ready to revolt over your horrendous home schedules.

I understand that.
I was responding to his comment about why the horns initially—when we first accepted the SEC invite—refused to play A&M.
At that time, Dodds, not Del Conte, was AD,

We had an extremely limited window to reinstate the game...while the Arkansas series was not at Jerryworld. (2012 and 2013)

Dumbfrick Eric Hyman inked a 10-year deal to move the series to Arlington, removing a home game from our schedule every other year.

Is it any coincidence that, in 2014, the LSU game was moved to the end of the season?

I think the guy showed up just this year, or at least this is the first year I’ve noticed him.

Apparently someone donated their season tix to the homeless shelter or he snagged them with the jewelry during a break in.

Regardless it’s not me, I’m in Cali following up on some warm leads trying to clear up OJ’s good name/find the real killer.
