NIL is here to stay, it is essentially going to be whose programs boosters offer the most cash to certain high school players, not every high schools player is going to get NIL money but I would be willing to bet that the top 100 or so are going to be getting offers.
It is what it's is, the Rich will stay rich everybody else will get left behind..

A&M has an elite game day environment, one of the most successful coach in the game, massive resources, and unsurpassed support.

Easier to defend this statement than not, it's a lot cheaper to NIL finance a top class than buy out a coaches contract & the new staff coming in.

Someone’s disappointed in their coaching hire. Don’t be a bitch because other schools are passing yours up.

Of course it’s the money. It’s also the Jambo didn’t come to LSU. He knew he could just write checks for the foreseeable future and buy what he wanted. They’ll still fall short though because faggy is as faggy always does

In California it is legal for high schoolers to get NIL DEALS, and you can bet that many top HS football players have "been promised" NIL deals as soon as they are enrolled, which means the early enrollees are already banking cash.

It's legal in many states.

By schools? It's against the NCAA/NIL rules to use NIL to recruit athletes.

LOL! Woodward came from A&M and no AD in the country spends more recklessly

No, I mean promised by men/ women who have the means to pay these top HS players that they will be paid upon enrolling-ie alums/ boosters.

think is just that fans from other schools are starting to feel a little uneasy, as we always knew the "sleeping giant" potential of A&M, and now it appears we are witnessing the manifestation of those fears.
The future of the SEC could be solely dependent on how the renewed A&M/UT rivalry plays out in the next decade, because there is absolutely no other school in the conference that will match those dollars.
I for one was happy as hell when A&M joined the conference, as their eccentric traditions and facilities are some of the best country, but now certain realities are here to deal with for other schools.
I always appreciate it when someone who ins't ab Aggie on this site has the balls to say the truth out loud.

It's illegal to say, "if you sign here, we'll give you x dollars per year in an NIL deal."
It's LEGAL to say, "our starting DT (or Qb, or WR, or whatever) this year made x dollars in NIL deals."

That's true. You didn't. I'm just trying to point out that the rule against using the NIL as an incentive is fuzzy and easily side-stepped. I promise you that
every major program is doing exactly that.

The only thing Texas 8&5 has ever accomplished are 2 meaningless wins over Alabama in 10 years.

You know recruiting is going REALLY well when even the Bama fans are turning on us.

Give it time. NIL is going to correct a wrong, for all the right reasons, that you just have to look back a few decades to see.
When the NCAA made rules aimed at boosters buying apartments for players, and providing no-show jobs, and such ... they created "scarcity". They drove up the cost of doing business - by making it more expensive by fiat to buy access. They took it from giving a ball-player a $100 hand-shake to making it "legal" only if you buy the school a building - or enroll in their approved booster program.
Give it a decade, and we'll be right back to where we started before the NCAA - at the request of big university Presidents and ADs trying to "fix" a problem that never existed. Back in the Wild Wild West days of college football - certain kids got a car, or lived free in an apartment. And coaches made six figures. Nobody made "retire early" money back then.
The corporate sponsors are going to scream, though. That's all this is about. Corporate sponsors blocking the guy at the local car lot from sliding a popular ball player a hundred to shake hands in the show-room .
