Sark is going to suck this year and get fired. New coach for 2023 season. We need two years for the new coach to fix things. We'll be ready to join in 2025.

Who said that, one weirdo? I never heard anyone claim such a thing, and it was never going to happen.

I'm just happy that it looks to be earlier than 2025 now. That would be brutal.

Brent wanted 2022 to chill and take A&Ms recruits. 23 is when you will be biting the pillow when playing OU.

Hopefully we can expedite that. I'd rather have y'all in as soon as possible and get all the scheduling sorted out. Plus, as much as I loathe Texas, I wouldn't wish being chained to the rotting corpse of the Big 12 on anyone.

SEC day for us can't get here soon enough. Hope we never schedule anyone from our former conference again once that happens

If I was getting beat by Baylor on a semi-regular basis, I would not want to embarrass myself anymore either

It is and has been from day one, July 1, 2025. And both schools will have to pay $80 million to the Big12 the day each one leaves.

Keep dreaming. Barring a total collapse he gets the same 3 to 4 years that everyone else gets.

Expecting a rough introduction to the SEC, but I can't wait. Looking forward to renewing old rivalries, establishing new ones, and being excited about TX football again.

You mean you have something against Ames and Waco?

Yeah, I am done with that. Keep Ou vs. Texas. Give me an entirely new schedule and I will be happy.

Explain to me how it benefits Fox, the primary rights holder, to let OU and Texas go early, to a league where ESPN has the exclusive rights?

I'm sure some TV execs at ESPN are "talking" about this, but making it happen would not be easy. I can't see the remaining Big XII members taking less than the two full years revenue distribution OU and Texas have to forfeit in order to leave under the Big XII bylaws. If they were to go in 2023, OU and Texas would have to return the money they should have received from 2021-22, which they already have in the bank. Every day that goes by makes that less likely. If OU and Texas leave as scheduled, and give the proper notice, they won't actually write a check for anything, they will just not receive those last 2 distributions.

You got curb stomped last time you faced Aggie and probably would have lost 8 of the last 10 years had we played

Are y’all still going to take Texas if we beat them a second year in a row

We will terminate the program if that happens.

There's that old Aggot delusion we remember and didn't miss in the slightest.

Is there any way the SEC can exchange 8&4 for somebody decent...like maybe La Tech? The Ags could go to CUSA and compete for a league title every few years. Win/win.
