They cared enough to nix the Schiano hire. Until UT is rid of Fulmer, they’ll be a laughingstock.

Good lord, please give us Phat taking the reins back like Tom Osborne with metabolic syndrome and mustard stains on his shirt. Please. It’s a win-win. Tenn fans will get a shot of hope of reclaiming lost glory, and the rest of us get a ton of laughs.

He’d upstage Fulmer. That can’t be tolerated.

I see a lot of improvement there, I mean the margin of defeat has decreased each game.

They should have hired Mike Leach...What was the uproar about him being hired again?

Currie had that deal in place and then got told to come back to campus so he could be canned. I'm not sure Leach would have been the answer. The offense would likely be better, but he has the reputation of not really wanting to recruit and being a headache to the admin and boosters.

He has a reputation for winning. I can understand why y'all didn't want him based on that.

Tennessee is indeed awful but it's odd that a Rebel would point out a horrific losing streak given Ole Miss lost 6 straight previous games before the win last weekend.

The night I went to bed thinking I was going to wake up to a Leach press conference was the most excited I have been about football since Kiffin was trash talking Meyer and pummeling Richt.

I challenege you to find anyone that was not excited for Leach at the time.

Leach was infinitely better than any of the other options. And you guys even have the vol navy to play off.

It's even worse if you look at the point spread Vegas posted for those games. Maybe someone will post it, it gives a "depth" to the point.

Would Fulmer hire Hugh Freeze?

Fulmer’s AD job depends on Pruitt’s success.

No way the BOD lets Fulmer make another hc hire.
