Tennessee's athletic department was operating at a loss just a few years ago.

You have an outside shot at seeing $30 or $25 at the end of the year.. although $35 to $40 is more reasonable absent a random war in the middle east :)

Probably the only reason some conservative Ranters approved the Obama Iran deal is that when their oil hits the open market it will hurt Texans everywhere.

I'm glad it will hurt the Russians, but hate that it will hurt Texans. It would really suck if they had to move to a place I live.

A&M had like $700 million a couple years ago. So there's that.

Don't worry, the cartels would bail us out if we ever got into financial trouble.

This is from an article in The State newspaper in Columbia, SC.

donations for the 2014-15 fiscal year was $94 million,

Not sure that it's not a misprint and that it is actually referring to revenue and not donations.

Knowing The State, that is entirely possible.

I sure wouldn't be starting a thread if my schools athletic department only got 48M in donations.

And for those worried about oil, there is also a huge rare earth deposit in west Texas that just happens to be on state land.

As with a lot of folks in here, their numbers are not correct, with the Aggies topping the list. I finally found Auburns at 37 million(Year end Sept '14), USC was 16 million
