I don't care about polls, bragging rights and ratings...... All i will judge a team are on results and the clear verdict will be determined this saturday at Georgia and in Columbus in late november.

Tennessee is #1 if they can win in Athens. Until then, #3 or #2 is good enough. From my viewpoint, Georgia this year is better than last year. So far, their 2021 championship season looks like an “appetizer.”

UGA is a 12 point favorite with an ESPN generated 75% win probability. UGA is number 1 until they are beaten. The Vols have a punchers chance at best in this game.

TN is going to wreck GA’s defense.

1 Tennessee easy
2 Ohio State
3 Alabama
4 LSU (peaking!)
5 Michigan

I think there’s a great case for Tennessee being the #1 team, and if they beat Georgia this week, it’s an unassailable case.

If the Vols win a few in a row and beat Florida, he might look. I don't care. Last season really seemed, finally, to take some wind out of his sails.
I would hate to go through life with such unrealistic expectations that are dashed all the time, but at least he has a winning strategy at roulette.

UGA will be physical with the WRs and cover 11. They should win handily. Vols might get to 14 against this defensive but Bowers will run wild against the secondary.

UGA is the defending national champs and according to their fans have dominated every game and expect to dominate this weekend too. So obviously that is the expected outcome right?

Not so fast my friend...

It might be another 31 or 22 point struggle win…

I want Georgia to be favored by 10 points. Put all the pressure on Georgia.

-12.5 to -10.5 is the line right now. Confidence is over 75% they win now.

A puncher's chance? Did you not see UGA vs Mizzou and their game last night?
Vols are extremely underrated oline and dline talent.
Vols have good linebackers as well and tge much better offensive scheme.
Vols have the better overall QB, mote explosive....Vols have a much better and more explosive WR corps.
UGA has better talent sure and are deeper at most positions...but besides maybe TE and RBs, Tennessee has the better players at the skill position. The line play on both sides is a wash i would say.
Secondary is the biggest obvious talent gap. UGA is not the machine that they were las year though. Don't kid yourself. That team was shutting people out left and right and had more dangerous skill position guys overall.
Tennessee can absolutely win this game and will imo. Now if we wer to switch Stetson and with Bryce Young, I'd be very worried. Stetson is not making good decisions throwing the ball lately though. As long as we hold them under 150 yards rushing they can't keep up with us.
