I’m glad you are finally out of your coma. You obviously need to get updated on everything you missed. Saban retired.a few months ago. He is gone. Living in a big mansion on the beach.

Ole GrandPaw had the SEC refs in his pocket. Let’s see if this continues with him gone. Somehow I don’t think it will. When UGA and Bama played with out of conference refs the outcome was a lot different.

What he means is that UTK will manipulate the NIL and transfer portal better than anyone else. They can then say we have the best teams money can buy. I despise NIL and the transfer portal. He is touting Heupel and Barnes; but, as Casey Stengel said about the Yankees in the 1950s, "Hell, anybody could win pennants with these players."

Tennessee doesn't have the horses in football.
Tennessee was on par in talent with North Carolina last year. They were 8th in the SEC. Their recruiting class was 8th in the SEC. Ranked 32nd in the transfer portal.
Even if you think you have a good coach and QB, you have to have enough talent to challenge for a national title. Simply put, Tennessee doesn't have enough talent.
They may in other sports. But in football their ceiling is a playoff berth and an early playoff exit (first or second round depending on their draw).
