Does anyone remember where Billy Donovan was a head coach before he went to Florida...and how long he was there?
Donovan was a head coach at Marshall for 2 seasons before Florida came calling. Sure...he had been an assistant at Kentucky (which is really why Florida came after him)...but he had significantly less experience as a Head Coach than Caldwell. Is it a gamble? Sure...but similar gambles have paid off for others in the past.

Vols went the Bama route on this one. Only one fan is promoting this. The rest are in optimistic wait and see mode, like Bama fans with a full set of teeth and the normal number of chromosomes should have been.
