Is it just me? Every time I read a stephen17 thread, in my mind it sounds like a thirteen year old boy is yelling it at me.

What really good passing attack will the Vols see this year in the SEC?

LSU? Anemic
Bama? Meh
UTM? Laughable
Kentucky? That’s a joke
UGA? They don’t have the QB or WRs
Mizzou? No
UofSC? With Rattler?
Vandy? Nope

The Vols are not going to be a playoff team so the bowl doesn’t matter.

The front 7 is good enough to keep opposing QBs from just staying in the pocket and picking the Vols apart. And you are not going run enough to keep up with the Vols offense. Somehow that gets lost in these discussions.

LSU had a total of 85 yards against Auburn on Saturday, 5 yards in the second half. I don't think it will matter how poorly UT plays pass D.

Auburn's pass defense is not horrible...UT's is.

So does LSU's defense. All that running is the recipe. TOP and 3 and outs are designed to wear the gray pants off the defense. Ball control is the answer.

No, Auburn's pass defense is pretty good. The issue is minus one screen play, LSU didn't have a pass that was a threat to any SEC Defense. That is why I thought LSU might have won their last SEC Game last weekend. I like LSU, but that Offense just looks anemic. I don't think they will be able to keep up with the Vols Offense.

While it has been based on opposing defenses...Paxton Brooks has punted 10 times this season. Jay Bramblett punted 9 times against Auburn. So Tennessee's offense isn't the only one at the risk of 3 and outs.

This is how you know that you don't read the football threads.

Tennessee fans and others have talked ad nauseam about UT's lack of pass defense. Now your dimwitted arse posts this as if it is breaking news.

If Bryce can’t play in two weeks, there’s a good chance that Tennessee won’t play a good passing attack the rest of the year. They’re lucky that they avoided Mississippi State this year. Leach would expose them in a really bad way.

You do realize with a good rushing attack that takes time away from the opposing offense right? If LSU can run the ball effectively and use the clock it will keep the ball out of UTs hand!! Your concept is dumb

Last year Tennessee beat Kentucky 45-42. Tennessee's TOP was 13:52 and Kentucky's was 46:08.
