This is true depending on who you ask. My wife graduated from Bama too and she absolutely .....hate isn't strong enough for what she feels for UT. Auburn is Auburn to her too but she has a best friend who is an aubie. She literally can't sleep the week of UT.

Depends on where you live in the state and how old you are.
Most Bama fans hate UTs program more, but hate Auburn fans more.
Auburn has a fan base full of grown men who sit around and hire private investigators to follow Bama players and their parents looking for any dirt they can. They are pathetic.

Seriously tho, of course TSIO is the bigger game to Bama, just like TSIO is bigger to VOLS fans than the Florida game. Yes they hate Auburn and we hate Florida but TSIO is another level.
It's one of the premier rivalries in all of college football, not just the south. The only rivalry that comes close to matching the tradition, pageantry and winning is Michigan and the Ohio State imo.
