Being humble would require some internal introspection.

Probably not a big thing for Bammer fans.

That and some competition in the rivalry. Since this streak over Tennessee began, the only tense games were in 2009 and 2015.

This thread wasn't aimed at Bammer so much as the fans from other schools who were downplaying what is clearly the number one rivalry in the SEC - Tennessee and Alabama.

There is a lot of antipathy among the lesser programs about Tennessee's record - which is better than theirs, the fan base which is crazy loyal to the Volunteers, our facilities which are world class, and God knows what else. It is only to be expected, I suppose.

Hopefully you won't have to forfeit this game.

We get enough dissection from external forces to last us a lifetime!

This thread started with promise but has deteriorated into sadness. You are better than this Walt.

Well, you aren't, but other Vols on this board are.

Really? The 90s are over. TSIO is much better than the little tiff you have with the Gators. To beat one, who would you chose, Bama or dem boys from Hogtown? I bet 7 out of 10 Vols would take Bama, any year, every year!

This is no longer a competitive rival. Tenner is done, its over.

Bammer went 3-8 one year and they will again. Tennessee has never lost 8 games in a year.

If the SEC stops shading Bammer so much - and holds them to the same rules under which the other teams play, Bammer will sink out of sight.

Then surely Tennessee must have more all-time wins than Alabama, right? That's how that works, right?

There are some rivalries in CFB. Bama vs Tennessee isn't one of them. Tennessee vs Vandy is more of a rivalry.

It's certainly a rivalry but nowhere near top 5 like someone said earlier in the thread.

You have three more victories, but you also have 8 more losses than Auburn. Too lazy to do the percentages, but you have 38 wins in 98 tries, Auburn has 35 wins in 81 tries.

But we have 7 ties and you only have 1. So that is 45 times Bammer didn't win to your 36.
