Bama must've been trying to stay relevant on UT's back when we had the streak not so long ago.

I remember the Vol's brief moment of respectability in the '90s but the relevant question isn't how you did against Bama, but how did you do against Florida? TN and FL are not and will never again be comparable programs. Integration brought the end of TN as a college football power. Jim Crow isn't walking through that door.

WTF does that even mean?

Scruffy is 26. He doesn't give a rat's bum about stuff that happened before he could form memories.

LOL

The rest of society uses on-field results and actual hardware to determine who is the better program. And VOLS win that in a landslide.

So right now, Tennessee has a better football program than LSU?

Well, if that was true, recruits would still choose y'all over Bama and other top programs, right?

You know, because of on-field results and actual hardware.

Just give up the charade. Y'all past is only relevant to y'all. We live in the now, and the now says, "UT blows."

The only landslide is the vols' fall in the rankings

Alleva is a tard.

Alabama plays UGA every bit as often as LSU does in the scheduling rotation.

Obviously LSU plays UF alot more and Alabama plays UT a lot more.

When Tennessee was a perennial top 10 team throughuot the whole 1990's there was no issue.

Not Alabama's fault.

I actually respect the fine tradition of the Vols and wish they were better. It's just sad that that it has come to the AD and fans thumping their chest because they "ain't scurred" to play bama every year. Like a punch-drunk hillbilly bar-room brawler who has no teeth. I feel kinda bad for you guy.

That was 15 years ago. All current college students and players don't even remember that time.

Alleva is being a huge f-ing baby.

I'd love for Florida to be A&M's cross conference rival.

Scruffy is 26 and his dad was a Tulane fan. He didn't start following LSU until the 2000s.

The before times are nothing but jibba jabba.

This bothers me because apparently we're still not going to play the whole conference in a timely fashion.

go have fun with them in the Big 12 if you think it'll be so great.

then the SEC will let Tulane right back in and LSU will start it's slow sad decline.
