LSU on multiple 4th and shorts, may disagree

Then they chose poorly. They should have thrown the ball instead of trying to run.

And Tenn has played one less game than Vandy, so their yards per game is worse.

So, I see that basic math is alive and well in Georgia. You do know what the "per" in yards per game means...right?

Sorry. I just noticed. But still...one more game and your per game could be higher....

Or it could be lower...that's how averages work. It is the mean in the set of data...in this case yards PER game.

No shite. I know how averages work. But with their secondary, it would be higher.

Shrewd, waiting until the Tennessee game to show it.

Bama defensive sacks vs:

aTm - 0
Arkansas - 3
Vanderbilt - 5
UL Monroe - 4
Texas - 3
Utah St. - 0

Outside of Vandy and UL Monroe...the pass rush has looked pretty pedestrian so far.

Bama had 12 QB pressures on Saturday, that means King was impacted on more than 25% of his attempts.

PFF has a pass rush productivity stat that is basically Hurries + Sacks + Hits / Pass Rush Opportunities.

Alabama has the top 2 and 3 of the top 7 in the SEC

1. Will Anderson
2. Chris Braswell
7. Dallas Turner

LSU #28 pass defense
#55 rush defense

I thought we would be worse.

Love the three-OLB formation, Braswell is really stepping up.

Lying is a poor look man.

Bama had 3 sacks yesterday, plus the 14 QB Hurries.

I was drinking but I’m sure I saw some Bama sacks Saturday. And King was running like straight backwards to avoid a few more too.

Thanks for correcting the OP on that.

So 3 sacks plus 14 hurries gives 17 plays impacted out of 48 attempts or 35% of all dropbacks resulted in the QB being impacted.

That's really good.

Tenn 's Ol is like Swiss Cheese. Bama has already knocked out two QBs. Hooker will be the third.

Vols are 11th in the country in TFL allowed and giving up less than 2 sacks a game.

Actually, our oass protection has been good this year and especially our run blocking.

Proof that you haven't watched any Tennessee ganes this year.

Besides false starts, we are playing very well on bith sides at the line of scrimmage.
