In that game, Texas beat #10 Notre Dame (preseason ranking) 50 - 47. The week after, Texas jumped up to #11 before finishing the season with a losing record. Notre Dame finished 4-8.

Hindsight is 20/20, sure, but the media loves Texas and Notre Dame, especially in the preseason.

It's true.

I dislike schools with fans who have an overinflated sense of who they are in present day. So that gives me:

#4 hate - Texas. They have the most recent success on this list, but not by much. What, 5 years more recent than Tennessee? Yet, every year, every coaching hire, they're back! LOL. Not yet guys. You just collapsed your league with your arrogance and came crawling to the SEC. Boo!

#3 hate - Tennessee. Much like Texas, they still have fairly recent success, but it's still been 20+ years. They are a shell of their former selves, but every single botched coaching hire is "the one that will bring them back". Yawn. They're below Kentucky in the current pecking order.

#2 Hate- Georgia. 1980 suckers. But they still act like it's 1981 and it just happened. Yeah, they've won the East some, but come on. Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, and A&M all would have multiple SECE crowns since Urban left Florida, had they been able to swap places with Georgia. And Georgia would have 0 SECW championships in that same span. Yet they think they are Alabama now. Please! Did I mention 1980?

#1 Hate - Ole Miss. If Georgia is bad, wait til you see Ole Miss! They have a few fake championships from before blacks were allowed to play football (they rioted when poor Mr. Meredith was finally allowed on campus, years after other SEC schools had integrated successfully). Yet they've ridden those 5 "glory" years harder than anyone could ever imagine. Otherwise, they are just bottom feeders, year in and year out. Oh, Freeze beat Alabama, you say? Twice, you say? Yawn. What did you do with those seasons? Got drilled in one meaningless bowl game, and won another meaningless bowl game. Congrats! On top of that, they act like "The Grove" is some mecca of college sports. LMAO. It's an overcrowded field with some trees. They can't cook, so they serve pre-prepared Wal-Mart food. Then they hang some weird chandeliers and break out the china to try to act like they're not embarrassed of the wal-mart food. Oh yeah, THAT fancies it up guys. And when was tailgating ever supposed to be fancy? Alabama, LSU, A&M, Auburn, MSU, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee ALL are better tailgating experiences. Oxford is Anytown, MS (and they all suck - I've lived here for work for a decade now), except they have about 4 square blocks with a couple of bars and restaurants that would be considered average at any other decent town in America. But, man, are they proud of their handful of average joints! "James Beard". Congrats. That's the neatest thing about Oxford. But most decent places in America have really good food. I know it's a little special for MS, but not the rest of us. And finally, the women. Yeah, there's some good ones. There's a good chance for you losers to "marry up". But every place in America has some. Especially college towns. Again, decent, but highly overrated. All this, yet OM fans walk around like they're somehow better than others. Meh. A below average school, in a below average town. At least your MSU brethren know who they are. They're salt of the earth people. Easy to get along with, the kind of people you want to be friends with. I know - I work at a place that is LOADED with them. They are great to work with.

I hate A&M. Y'all have had a decade with them now so it should be obvious why I hate them.

Georgia- What isn’t there to hate? The colors are ugly as frick, the fans tend to be fat and dip addicts, and the trash they talk with the trophy case they have is embarrassing. Nah but in all seriousness I didn’t really hate Georgia until 2007 when they pulled that shite in Duval after a timeout. I was 12 and was amazed at just how classless they were.

LSU- Always respected LSU and the fact they gave us good games until the hurricane situation in 2016. For their loud mouthed Bitch made AD to run his mouth and insinuate that the MIGHTY GATORS were scared of some fricking corn dogs while we were dealing with a STATE OF EMERGENCY will never sit right with anybody in Gator Nation. Just classless considering the outpouring of support our state showed during Katrina. Then they got their panties in a wad because some fan brought a skeleton figure draped in purple and gold colored beads to a game and gave it to a couple players and used that to say we made fun of some dumb arse tiger nobody cared about who died (probably from neglect). Just a bunch of insensitive timid pork battered in cornmeal.
Tennessee- LOL I love the shite outta Tennessee week and I’ll always love Muschamp for standing on Neyland with a mic in his hand after a Winn and saying “It’s so good see all these fans out here disappointed”
Alabama-They made 13 year old me cry along with Tebow and it’s been disappointment after disappointment against them since. All that shite ends Sept 18th, they started their dynasty against us and going to be fitting when we’re the ones that end it.

What makes me sad is ALL of this is about to change. Oklahoma and Texas are coming into the SEC fold soon and that'll force Alabama and Auburn to go to the SEC East.

Bama vs. LSU will get diminished

Gonna have new rivalries like Texas vs. LSU, LSU vs. Oklahoma, Bama vs. UGA, Bama vs. Florida, etc.
