The under hasn't come out yet, so no.

LSU will win by 2 scores. I'll be surprised if Miami gets to 17pts - 21pts. This will be LSUs best D in years and absolute best under Dave Aranda. Miami is getting a little to much hype and LSU is being written off, take the points.

Miami's D might outscore their O, because LSU doesn't have a QB.

LSU's defense should be the best unit on the field. They'll also be the most insignificant, because a real coach with an experienced QB isn't going to challenge them. Richt will sit back and wait for LSU to screw up and try a reverse or some crap pass play

Lol LSU 100% has a capable QB as well as a solid backup. Both of these guys can sling it the question is consistency.

This may be true. I have faith in Coach E though. The one year he was interim OC was our best offense in the last 30 years. The last few years I've been down on LSU. I have a feeling this team is better than most think. The schedule is brutal though. I see a 7-10 point win over Miami and then who knows. Gonna have to win close games because our D will keep us in every game.

lol wut? 21 points and 7 of those were a fluke play. Stuff happens in a game. When Aranda has the horses which he does this season he is the best in the business.

I'm just pointing out that he isn't the GOAT of defense.

We see the same thing. I don't have your optimism in the QB, though. I'll have to see it first.

LSU doesn't need to come out of the gate hungover and out of shape like last year. That could be very bad with this schedule

Biggest issue was how thin we were at DL last year with suspensions and injuries. IN a much better place this year with that. Best DL we've had in a while.

Well you didn't succeed. I personally wouldn't trade him for another D coordinator is the country.

Miami wins 31-14. It will be nip and tuck until the 4th. Richt will outdo O in the 4th. The teams are pretty equal with talent but Miami has it's first HUGE win in years.

O/U is 48 1/2. Has been out over a week.

I think there are plenty of better d coordinators. What place did LSU finish last year? I'd assume the guys ahead of him are better. Right?

Look at LSU the last 2 seasons and the first game they have played against a decent team with a pulse.

Throw in the fact they have no QB, and it's an easy game to walk away from

And none of these were season openers, which was the topic of discussion.

Nah we didn't have the horses last year. Injured and suspensions on D killed us early. Later in the year when we got healthy we were damn good. Think we still finished in the top 10 or 15 after being awful the first quarter of the season.

Wisconsin?

and sure, Wisconsin was higher rated, but so was LSU.

The Tigers were a good team, facing a higher ranked team in the season opener. LSU slept walked though 3 quarters.
That was my reference
