With everthing going on in the world I don't think God cares about football or who wins.

I think Tebow was just mad today that another signal caller was vying for the Good Lord's attention this weekend

But perhaps God uses Tebow as an example of what somebody can overcome in life with hard work, Faith, and determination. No matter what the critics say.

Which is a mindset that this country was built on, and is losing at a rapid rate. The amount of people in this country who have faith in Jesus, live by Christian morals, and believe that hard work pays off is dwindling at a rapid rate. It's quite sad to watch.

Tebow sets a good example, and what better way for God to get people to notice, by using a man like Tebow on national tv in a sport that the majority of the country watches. I might get bashed for this by the haters on here, but I really don't give a frick.

I agree. I'm happy for his success. He practices exactly what he preaches. Good for him.

Tebow is just doing what he did in the SEC. You look at him and think "he's not that good" but then you watch him play against your team, and you realize he just finds a way to get it done.

I didn't watch him in college nearly as much as y'all but he seemed like a much more efficient thrower

Plus all these players were dissing him hitting him late, mocking his faith etc aka Detriot Lions. God does not like to be mocked to borrow from another thread. Since then the lions lost four in a row and the Broncos have not lost once.
Whether it is divine intervention or not noboby is mocking him now

Ever seen the movie Chariots of Fire?

Yes, I have, and it has some very good moments.

Eric Liddell, 1924 Gold medalist from Scotland, was a helluva guy.

Like Tebow, he was born overseas to missionaries, although in his case he was born in China. He died there too, in a WWII internment camp in 1945.

What does Tebow have to do with a kicker making a 59 yarder and a 51 yarder back to back to win a game?

Todays win over the Bears was pure luck.

Yeah I believe Tebow would be exactly the same kind of person whether he was a QB in the NFL or if he was bagging groceries.

I used to hate him when he was at Florida, but you gotta respect him as a player and as a person.
