Why does a particular team 'deserve to win'
what are some examples of teams you think 'deserve' to win this week and why do they deserve to win
Many times some circumstances outside the game itself makes people say a team deserves to win, such as a death, or tragedy that affects a team. Then people will say they deserve to win.
I always thought that whoever scores the most points during the game 'deserves to win'

I believe Ole Miss deserves to win. They’ve historically been a middle of the road program that has in the last season or two done extremely well.
They’ve had to endure being told they weren’t good enough by the man who built that recent success, while gaming the court system to ensure their 24 year old QB could get a 6th year of eligibility.
They’ve come a long way since the stands were full of thousands of Rebel flags and I firmly believe they deserve to win.

Nobody deserves to win before the game starts. That determination is made while the game is happening…
which team is making more plays,
which team is getting away with penalties in their favor,
which team is playing with more effort,
which team has had unlucky bounces, etc..

Ok, I’ll play.
Mississippi State deserves to win. MSST put together the coaching staff and team they currently have in this crazy environment by not spending millions upon millions.
The prize they are getting after the season will likely be getting absolutely gutted by the big money schools.
It absolutely sucks.

It would be a feel good story and would be a great to win one for that person.
But for me it’s not a “deserve to win”.

I'm not saying we deserve to win any particular game or anyting like that. But if suffering thru horrible season after horrible season makes a fanbase deserving of having a good season or even more, SC is in that conversation...

LSU deserved to win last Saturday. If it weren't for Ole Miss playing an ineligible quarterback, or loud music, or the game being the Rebel's "superbowl", or corrupt officiating, or the REC. They would've won.
