LSU wasn’t shite in football prior to Nick Sabans 1st season(2000). LSU only had 5 seasons where they won 10 games or more in the same year prior to Nick Sabans first year. From 1893-2000 LSU only won 10+ games in the same year 5 times.

And yet still top 15 in wins all-time pre-Saban.

You shore is angry about LSU and the success they have had over the last 25 or so years damn man take it easy don’t stroke yourself out before opening weekend kickoff!

If teams like Michigan and Notre Dame can't coast on past successes, LSU can't be adjudged wanting for past losses.

Recent body of work is what matters. It's why the 1980 jokes stopped.

You that confident in TS this year with that gator squad and who is your QB?I am not guaranteeing a win or anything but UF is about 5 or 6 down the line if I am making a list of toughest challengers on the schedule.

Good luck.

25 year Championship drought —how old were you in 1998? Does your dad still tell you about the “good ole days” of Tennessee football or do you still just watch the VHS highlight tape from the 98 season every year?

At the time Texas gained independence from Mexico, practically everyone living there was from somewhere else. But people who came and fought became Texans for life.

Andrew Jackson WAS the man. He took on the bankers and won. Too bad it was short lived. It was probably inevitable, they've always ruled the world.

Teams that own LSU

What PLANET are you from?? LSU was #12 (TWELVE) ALL-TIME, NATIONALLY, in number of NCAA football victories, AAAAAND, #8 In Bowl appearances nationally - wait for it - """""BEFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE"""" saban's happy arse came to Baton Rouge, Einstein. (And are still #12).

You DOOOOO realize that CFB teams only played TENNNNNN-game schedules up until the 80s, right?
And even though we didn't have many 10-victory seasons up until the 80s, we had a MILLION 9-win seasons.

How, exactly, do you describe the #12 all-time program in victories as "wasn't shite." You can't possibly be that stupid....

The Bama and Ut series are what sticks out. Those aren’t even competitive.

Looks like LSU has a thing with Nebraska like Bama did with Texas. Hard to explain but every team has one they just have a hard time with.

LSU will still have a losing record to UF regardless of what happens this year.
