I think anymore than three losses next year, and we may be looking at HC Aranda around Christmas time.

Y'all keep hiring within the family. It's worked out well.

Care to explain? Y'all dumbasses laughed at Miles for years. His departure isnt the problem.

Never fire someone (unless maybe they turn out to be a drug dealer) without having someone to replace them. Ed O. IS NOT A REPLACEMENT! You could easily swear that Alleva is trying on purpose to frick LSU over.

A quick look at the schedule that day will lead to one obvious CBS game

I'd expect if both have seasons with 1 loss or less at that point then the SEC will push for primetime. Especially at Death Valley.

The obvious day game almost a year out is retarded when it comes to LSU.

That's not how it works. CBS would pick the best game available. There are no other interesting games.

Aranda is not like the two recent promotions. You're being disingenuous if you claim otherwise.

If my team went 0-Sec last year and lost to O I don't think I would be worried about other team schedules

I know you're new to being in a championship race, but CBS has made exceptions before.

They likely would push for a 2nd primetime slot should both teams have exceptional seasons. I for one don't think we will but wouldn't rule it out like UGA fans seem to be.

Stupid flame to start with. Not a good look.

Anyways, let's see the previous Examples that support your idea.

2011. CBS had two prime-time games during the season to accommodate the GOC.

Even if we have a losing season in 2018 (which I think is HIGHLY unlikely), Coach O will NOT be fired. LSUAD is not going to pay him his buyout then plus other buyouts we are already paying. Dr Alexander, Joe Alleva, and the BOS will NOT allow O to be fired in 2018.

Coach O's fate will be determined by the 2019 season and that is a FACT.

People may question the Florida loss. But Florida had a significantly worse coaching staff and 28 players out, and LSU beat them by one with a better offense than they will have this year and a far better OC.

Smart bet to go Florida.

You clearly didn't pay attention to the "hat's" last 3 years in BR. He wouldn't sniff 10 wins with that schedule. Just because Alleva screwed up the hire doesn't all the sudden make Miles better.

Miles has become a consistent 5-3 conference coach. And with the Wisky game his OOC record was snapped. We were clearly heading in the wrong direction and he was too stubborn to address the real problems.

It's a very safe assumption as evidenced by you 1) only having one example that 2) happened in November and 3) way back 7 years ago (which is the last time lsu was in a championship race.)

Point is, Your idea is highly unlikely, but I will say if lsu sucks complete arse, the odds go way up.

It isn't actually. LSU prides itself on Death Valley at night for big games, and we are tired of CBS picking up our games at 2:30. Recently you see a trend of LSU playing more games at night than during the day.

So what? CBS doesn't care about what LSU wants. You really have no clue who the boss is. TV runs the show.
