I think the OL played decent. Enough to win for sure.
QB - Sam is an average QB. Reminds me of Jeff Driskell or Brent Schaeffer type player. Decent legs and will win a few big games, but will also cost you. Doubt we can win a championship with him but he was 3rd choice of QB of what was left in portal. Brian Kelly left us with zero QB's. He is overachieving at this point but don't seeing him starting by season end. We shall see.
WR's - Average SEC but probably the worst group I have seen at LSU. Lane needs to recruit LA WR's. i look for this to change in the off-season.
TE - out. Dirty hit but not sure he's out for year but yeah, it always hurts to lose the best player on your team.
Defense - Spears was out early and although I think our D was overrated coming into the game, I am not counting them out to make us comeptitive. Chambliss is going to make a lot of defenses look poor.
Playcalling - I am not so sure, I thought Lane my have a couple he'd like to take back but in the end, Sam didn't make plays.
Anyone questioning the $50M doesn't realize how bad BK hurt the program and needs to see my comments about our QB situation and how we ended up this way.
