Now I’m quite certain you don’t know what the hell you are talking about.
Never heard the term in my life until I came to this forum.
A quick google search for it and I see basically nothing other than this forum, a crappy Auburn blog and a troll post on a 24/7 forum from an Auburn fan. So it looks to me like some shite Auburn made up to trump up importance.
It's stupid and there is no way in hell the SEC offices are sitting around thinking about the conference in this manner.
The LSU vs Alabama game has been in early November my entire life as best I can remember. The opening day of dove hunting and the LSU game seemed to go hand in hand most years, and if not it was only off a week.
The Tenn vs Alabama game has always been 3rd Saturday in October. It's even called that. They moved it to the 4th a few years ago for expansion reasons I guess, but it's back to the 3rd now.
The game vs Auburn has always been the last game of the year, because it's a rival game.
Auburn use to play Georgia the week before Alabama, but now both teams take a FCS game before hand. So now the Auburn vs Georgia game is the week before.
And on down the line these things apply to schools.
Then you have schools which make requests to the schedule. Such as Alabama started requesting an open date before LSU and Auburn. That moved the Miss St game from being typically before LSU to typically after. These aren't changes that are made for "Big6" reasons.

these three games do t happen during the au vs LSU or Uga vs au games.
Yet, the last two weeks listed above have a common denominator, and have provided some of the highest rated games in recent years (excluding playoff games).

there is a reason that these games were placed this way on the schedule from here on out.
They have provided the best games that people care about.
There is no need to overlap these games on the same weekend.
The moneymakers at the SEC/ESPN/SEC obviously know this and that is how they developed the schedule.
THe best thing we have done as a conference is keep the cross div games between
Ala-Tenn
AU-UGA
LSU-UF
There is no need to relegate these three games to a rotation against each other.

the SEC has pretty much featured Alabama and perhaps UGA as their showcase teams for quite a while.

The new Big 6 is A&M, Auburn, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.
Honestly, Florida and A&M should be cross division rivals.
A&M doesn't have a seat at that table. It's cute that you think y'all do though. Keep it up, that Kool aid won't drink itself.

no one gives a shite about this game outside of two cities. And the gumps only care about it because it's been a rent-a-win the last decade. At least UF-LSU, and UGA-AU are quasi entertaining most years.

He’s just begging for it to be 30 years later.
This group of boys on TD thinks that an alky heisman winner and a 7ot 2 point victory buys them respect.
It takes time to earn respect.

You could say this about 11 other teams in the conference.

Big 6 is dumb.
Winners of the SEC championship game in the last 26 years.
West:
Alabama 8
LSU 4
Auburn 3
East:
Florida 7
Georgia 3
Tennessee 2
These 4 deserve respect for appearing
Arky 3 appearances.
Mizzou 2
USC 1
MSU 1
The other 4 have had zero appearances and have not had a chance to win the game.
Texas AM
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
Your comment is dumb.

I am glad they have moved this game to later in the season. It's always horribly hot for such a great game

You know its referenced by the SEC in the '92 expansion a lot? as well as going back many years prior to that.

He could say the same thing about the 37 football national championships won in the last 36 years retroactively claimed by their media guides and a football thesaurus since the 80s.*
*not sure what the fluid number is claimed by Atcheson.

These two cities make up quite a bit of Viewing audiences. It’s all about money, and traditional matchups still make them some cash.

UF v LSU, AU v LSU and UGA v AU have ben the only games worth watching for the last several years

So it provides us a Tennessee team that is 1-25 in their last meetings vs Alabama and Florida?
Yet 6-1 in their last 7 meetings vs Mississippi State.
