Auburn seems like they peaked in the regular season. Hope they get their mojo back. That Michigan defense gives some hope they can get offense efficiency back up.

As much as a F4 can be a lock in the S16, AU is that lock. They played really well against a hot shooting Creighton, and Mich and Mich St don’t have nearly enough offense to beat a team like AU (and Ole Miss might take out MSU anyway). AU can play their C+ game against Michigan and win, their B- game against MSU, and probably their B or B- game against Ole Miss.

Their next threat will be FL, and while FL isn’t quite as big of a lock due to opponents, I think they’ll get there. The Maryland drama will be interesting to see if that helps FL or not, but TT could still put up a fight if Arky doesn’t get them (don’t think Arkansas has enough to take down FL, but who knows).

Figures we get the 2nd lowest seed but is the 6th hottest team still remaining.

Also crazy where our defense has been in that stretch. It's gone from a full blown liability to a strength recently.

I think that's the best thing going for us against BYU - their offense may have been playing really well but we've gone against some really good ones; OTOH, our offense is still 11th but their defense is pretty bad for a S16 team (bottom 4).

Another tidbit - the gap between Alabama and BYU on this is .0061; the gap between BYU and Ole Miss (3 teams between them) is .0055.

Three games where the teams are less then 2 points between each other based on current performance. Should, in theory, be some really good games.

It does look like Auburn has the easiest path to the F4 among the remaining teams, followed by Florida.
