Home run hires?! Define a home run hire if you think either of them fit that description lol

Weird how a Bama fan would have the best inside scoop on the next LSU coach…. But, the current Admin is saying it will be a major change and I think they actually mean that. I mean if LSU were to grab a one of the best OCs in the NFL that would be massive and definitely hype for a year until we see the next year’s product.

Chip Kelly is great at calling plays if he has the most expensive roster in cfb

I didn’t say that… lol, but I’m not thinking about these names being mentioned. I’m thinking about other OCs like the Lions Morten, Ravens Monken. People I doubt would even consider moving into a HC at college.

Considering what's available they'd be homeruns...well maybe a ground rule double....but honestly they'd be good hires.

If, and that's a big questionable if, because this thread is probably bs, but anyway, IF, this is true, it's the only smart thing for LSU since Kiffin ain't going there.
Get your coach who can CEO, he Hires proven OC DC and staff, gey NIL cranking like never seen, the best team of 3 and 4 year veterans and start 2026 next week.
By this time in 2026, the only question will be should LSU be in top 3 or 5

yea Kelly would be a home run for sure.

the only other one I can think of would be Kingsbury....but he's lost a bit of his shine this year.

They would energize LSU fans for sure. But, would it translate into competing for championships? I have my doubts.

Todd Monken is another. Former college HC and now Ravens OC who supposedly wants out the NFL.

Chip Kelly has proven that he’s not a HC type. He helped the Buckeyes win a title last year as an OC. That’s his ceiling
