Heard that Fulmer is thinking about canceling a few of the midweek games against directional schools and replacing with games against the Smokies and Lookouts. All games to be played at the south’s premier baseball venue, Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

It's too bad they demolished Historic Bill Meyer Stadium. A true gem. It had that Nicaraguan Mass Murder site feel.
Also I took a rock ball off the face there in a Summer League game.

Smokies and Lookouts will be good tune ups for our midweek arms. Braves and Reds would probably be more evenly matched though.

This is the controversial play. Eyster makes a good catch to get 1 out and throws out the runner at first. Double play for the third out. Guy on third tagged and went home and they counted the run.
Think it's just one of those rare things that was called correctly but everyone is just going "huh??"

I remember hearing that a few years ago but something about him waiting for a lease to be up, promised he wouldn’t move the smokies, etc.
